At The Law Offices of Charny, Charny & Karpousis, P.A., we are strongly committed to resolving matters of divorce in the most compassionate manner. With more than 30 years experience in Divorce & Family Law, Nancy D. Gold, Esq. is a well-respected leader in our legal community and recognizes that it is generally in litigants' best interests to avoid courtroom litigation, saving both parties time and money. But, more importantly, we look to alleviate the emotional struggle that often accompanies the separation process.

MEDIATION

In cases of divorce, mediation enables couples a way to resolve some of the most sensitive issues such as child custody, parenting time, support and equitable distribution of property outside of a courtroom. After an experienced analysis, evaluation and review of each party's position, Ms. Gold applies an unparalleled level of care while helping parties reach fair and equitable settlements in a confidential and neutral manner.

ARBITRATION (Binding and Non-Binding)

There are times when a settlement with guaranteed finality is best for family members and private arbitration is an expeditious way to resolve the financial and/or child related issues of divorce with no opportunities for appeal or reversal. After a comprehensive and confidential review of the various personal issues, the laws are applied and an award is outlined to create the most equitable resolution. With the conclusive nature of arbitration, Ms. Gold takes great care in evaluating the well-being of all parties.

BLUE RIBBON MATRIMONIAL EARLY SETTLEMENT PANELIST

A program run through the Court system, Matrimonial Early Settlement Panels (MESP) attempt to settle all financial issues involved in the dissolution of a marriage prior to a trial. They bring together the "best and brightest" family law attorneys to hear complicated and/or contested divorce cases.
As an experienced Blue Ribbon MESP panelist, Ms. Gold uses her legal knowledge, skill and a human touch to make non-partisan recommendations based upon the facts presented by both parties' attorneys. These well-informed findings are subsequently used by those with decision making power to outline a fair and lasting settlement.
