Practicing Divorce & Family Law in New Jersey
Rachel T. Savage is an associate with Charny, Karpousis, Altieri & Donoian, P.A. who focuses her practice on family law, handling matters involving divorce, custody, child support, alimony and related matrimonial issues with both diligence and compassion. She is committed to guiding clients through the legal process with clear communication and thoughtful advocacy. Rachel joined the firm following her judicial clerkship with the Honorable Rebecca J. Bertram, J.S.C., a Superior Court family law judge assigned to Vicinage 15.
While attending Rutgers Law School in Camden, Rachel gained valuable experience clerking at the Gregory G. Johnson Law Firm, where she conducted legal research and assisted with the preparation of real estate contracts, court pleadings and responses to discovery. She also interned for the Honorable John S. Kennedy, J.S.C., a Camden County Superior Court Judge, where she drafted case summaries for and assisted the Judge’s law clerk prepare cases for upcoming Court hearings.
Rachel earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School- Camden, where she was an active leader in the Pro Bono Estate Planning Project, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, the Animal Legal Defense Fund and the Women’s Law Caucus. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, with minors in Music and Spanish, from Rowan University. While at Rowan, Rachel performed as a saxophonist in multiple ensembles and studied abroad at Universidad del Pacífico in Lima, Perú.
Born and raised in South Jersey, Rachel values her community ties and brings that same sense of connection and dedication to the clients she serves. She continues to be a music enthusiast, supports the Arbor Day Foundation and when she is not working, she enjoys baking and cooking.
